FIBA Basketball Court

COURT DIMENSIONS

The FIBA basketball court measures 91.86 feet by 49.21 feet (28m x 15m), slightly smaller than the NBA court.

Game timing

GAME TIMING

A FIBA game consists of four 10-minute quarters. Overtime periods last 5 minutes.

Three-point line

THREE-POINT LINE

The three-point line is uniformly 22.15 feet (6.75m) from the basket, compared to the variable distance in the NBA.

Timeouts

TIMEOUTS

Each team has two timeouts in the first half and three in the second half, with a limit of two in the final 2 minutes of the game. Only coaches can call timeouts.

Fouls

FOULS

Players are disqualified after 5 personal fouls in FIBA games, compared to 6 in the NBA.
